This research platform, unique in Europe, is multidisciplinary with multiple equipment, covering numerous scientific fields and a wide spectrum of industrial applications.

🔹 What you will discover:
MOSAIC is a multidisciplinary research platform open to many scientific fields: materials science, astrochemistry, astrophysics, nuclear physics, geology, biology, and environment, with applications covering areas as diverse as nuclear and renewable energies, micro- and nano-electronics, production of isotopes for medical purposes, materials, biology, and space. The platform has various equipment: particle accelerators for ion beam production (Andromède, ARAMIS, Némée, IRMA, Sidonie, Tancrède), a transmission electron microscope (TEM) that makes it a unique facility for material modification by ion beam (implantation, irradiation, synthesis, deposition) and structural and chemical analysis of materials and biological specimens.
