Precision physics is among the most exciting and promising avenues for the development of the Large Hadron Collider program and of its High-Luminosity successor. Focusing in particular on the Electroweak (and Higgs) sector, I will describe the potential of this approach to discover new physics indirectly or to confirm the validity of the Standard Model theory well beyond current knowledge. I will emphasise that exploiting this potential, addressing the corresponding challenges, requires multiple expertises and the systematic cooperation of different communities. I will also discuss further possible developments of this program at hypothetical future colliders to be constructed on a longer time-scale.
