CUPID-Mo: A new world leading limit on neutrinoless double beta decay of Mo-100

CUPID-Mo is a bolometric experiment to search for neutrinoless double-beta decay (0νββ) of 100Mo. The CUPID-Mo detector, assembled and installed nearby the EDELWEISS Experiment in the Modane underground laboratory, has taken a major step in the data analysis started last September.
The limit obtained could be one of the best ever obtained in the world on molybdenum 100. CUPID-Mo could thus join the restricted club of experiments that have put stringent bounds on these processes.
More results are expected at the International Conference "Neutrino 2020" (https://conferences.fnal.gov/nu2020/).
