The ECFA (European Committee for Future Accelerators) will develop a roadmap for Detector R&D in Europe throughout 2021, following the update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics in 2020. At the end 2020, ECFA has set up a dedicated committee in which Roman Pöschl from IJCLab (PHE Pole, ILC Team) is leading a working group on the future of calorimetry. During spring 2021, nine symposia on various themes will be organized to allow discussion with the international community.
