IN2P3 participates in the analysis of a sample from the asteroid Ryugu

A team of IJCLab researchers recently contributed to the analysis of samples from Ryugu, a carbonaceous asteroid, brought back to Earth by the Japanese probe Hayabusa2 in December 2020. This study, carried out in collaboration with the Institute of Physical Chemistry ( ICP, CNRS Chemistry), aimed to characterize the organic matter present in these samples in order to learn more about the conditions of its formation in the primitive solar system.
