May Bike Challenge

The environment working group organized a “Mai à vélo” challenge in the laboratory and within the university. The members of the laboratory were invited to register for these two challenges via the geovelo application.

In one month, the laboratory has accumulated a total of 3,540 km traveled by 21 cyclists who have agreed to take part in the challenge! The first three are Patrick Le Jeannic, “Max” and Olivier Frossard with respectively 540, 526 and 342km, congratulations to them! Max has still not come forward and his diploma awaits him.

As for Paris-Saclay University, 17,643 km were covered by 94 cyclists from different laboratories. 8 laboratories and 1 student association took part in the intra-university challenge. In number of kilometers traveled, IJCLab came second behind Central Supélec and in number of kilometers traveled per participant, ICLab came 4th behind BaPS (Inrae), Polytech and GABI (Inrae).

The award ceremonies took place during the laboratory party for the IJCLab challenge and on July 4 for the university challenge. If you have any questions relating to soft mobility at work or comments to share on this subject, do not hesitate to contact the Environment WG.
