Start of the European iSAS project

The European iSAS project, dedicated to less energy-intensive accelerator physics technologies, started on March 1, 2024. It is coordinated by IJCLab for a duration of 4 years and a budget of just under 5 million euros distributed between 8 European partners. Associated academic and industrial partners are also involved in this innovative project.

More particularly, IJCLab's contribution to the iSAS project includes the scientific coordination of the entire project by Achille Stocchi, that of work-package 6 "Integration into Accelerator and Collider RIs" by Guillaume Olry and the management and societal impacts by STIRI. Several colleagues from the Accelerators Pole and the Administration Pole will actively participate in the various project actions.
