CNRS 2022 talents from IJCLab celebrated at Orsay

The 2022 CNRS medal ceremony took place on Monday, November 7 at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement départemental Paris-Saclay, in Orsay.

Organized by the CNRS Ile-de-France Sud Delegation, the ceremony began at 6 p.m. with a speech by Benoît Forêt, the Regional Delegate. 6 silver medals, 5 bronze medals, 2 crystal medals and a collective crystal medal were awarded to winners from laboratories attached to this CNRS Delegation. Musical interludes were performed by conservatory musicians throughout the ceremony. Two laureates from our laboratory received their medals on this occasion.

The first winner of IJCLab, Vincent Tatischeff, research director (A2C Pole, Astrophysics and Cosmochemistry Team) received the silver medal from the hands of Vincent Poireau, DAS IN2P3, in the presence of Sophie Henrot-Versillé, DSA of the A2C Pole. A video presentation of Vincent Tatischeff's activities, recorded by him for the occasion, was broadcast before he said a few words of thanks.

The second IJCLab winner, Jihane Maalmi, research engineer (Engineering Pole, Electronics Department, Digital Systems Department) received the crystal medal from the hands of Arnaud Lucotte, DAS IN2P3, in the presence of Valérie Chambert, DTA of the Engineering Pole. A video presentation of Jihane Maalmi's activities preceded his message of thanks.

The ceremony ended with the souvenir photo of the group of winners, followed by a cocktail. Congratulations to Vincent and Jihane for these well-deserved awards!
