On October 5, IJCLab received the visit of several members of the IN2P3 management, Marcella Grasso (DAS Nuclear Physics and Applications), Arnaud Lucotte (DAS R&D detectors, accelerators and technologies), Sébastien Incerti (DAS Interdisciplinarity) and Rodolphe Clédassou (DAT) to discuss the scientific program and prospects for the two JANNuS-SCALP and Andromède platforms, and visit the two platforms in situ, in the presence of the laboratory management, Frederico Garrido (DSA Energy and Environment) and the scientific and technical managers of the platforms (Aurélie Gentils, Cyril Bachelet, Isabelle Ribaud).
The very rich and comprehensive exchanges illustrated the points of convergence between these two platforms and their development potential within IJCLab, both in fundamental research and for industrial applications.
