ACT reveals the age of the Universe

The telescope ACT (Atacama Cosmology Telescope) located in a high mountain in Chile’s Atacama Desert, gave a new view of the oldest light of the Universe. The observations suggest that the Universe is 13.8 billion years old, reopening the debate about estimate for the Universe’s age and the understanding of the standard cosmological model.
